Week 8

Hi there to everyone...we are down to our last week...It's all crunch time now.
It doesn't seem possible but it has came here. I have gotten all my classes lined out for spring and summer term.  I am looking for forward to them, they seem to be new and exciting to me.
This week's assignments went okay, except that I can't seem to get my final access submitted, so I am not sure what is going on with that.  But I am sure it will get worked out.  Well hope all is well with everyone.  Good luck during finals.

Module 7

This one did go fast when I got to it, the part that took the longest was the web page setup.  I am getting caught up.  I hope that every one in my class is doing well also.  We don't have much of this term left guys.  I honestly can't believe it.  So my assignments for Module 7 took me about 6 to 8 hours, give or take.  I missed live class this last week and that really upset me greatly.  But I will catch the one this week.  It was really cold here in Weiser this weekend, I was hoping that it would have been warmer so that I could get some yard work started.  When we moved back in December there was lots of snow, and the house had been empty for a while so no one had gotten the leaves raked last fall.  So now that the snow has melted we have tons of leaves matted into the grass and it looks terrible.  All that I have to say is "WHERE IS SPRING?" that darn ground hog needed to make it sooner...LOL!! well I will go for now, I hope that every one has a great week.

Mexico nabs 2 more suspects in US agent slaying

Mexican authorities on Sunday arrested two alleged members of the Zetas drug cartel they say are linked to the killing of a U.S. immigration agent, including a boss of the man suspected of carrying out the attack.

Federal agents and soldiers raided seven homes in the state of San Luis Potosi and four in the border city of Nuevo Laredo as part of the investigation into the attack against Zapata and Avila, the department said.

Zapata and Avila, who worked at the U.S. Embassy, were attacked as they returned to Mexico City from a meeting with other U.S. personnel in the city of San Luis Potosi, capital of the state by the same name.

San Luis Potosi is at the center of a power struggle between the Zetas and the Gulf cartel. It is also on the route north used by migrants seeking to reach the United States. Officials say cartels have begun recruiting some migrants to work for the gangs.

Following the attack, some U.S. officials maintained it was an intentional ambush of the agents and said the gunmen made comments before they fired indicating they knew who their targets were.

Week 6

Hello all fellow followers and classmates.  Hope all is going good for all of you?  I am doing okay, still working on time management, it can be quite a struggle when you have full time classes, work part time, and have kids that you take care of and helping them with their homework.  But I will persevere, most do if they are truly dedicated.  I am spending about 8 to 10 hours on my computer assignments, this week with the access was a little more, I am vowing to make sure to blog more, I have been told that you can vent or what ever you wish on your blog and that it is very therapeutic.  Will I will go for now and will post again very soon, I am getting all caught up this weekend with all my modules.(sorry robin)

Week 4

I am really starting to feel like a REAL college student now.   The homework is really something that I now remember that I hated when I was in High School.  I just wish that I would have had the mind set then that I have to do if I want the outcome to be my goal.  But other than that every thing is great.  This Module was fun...I have always loved doing the computer processing stuff...I spent the last 7 years working  in the trucking industry starting out at as a receptionist, then billing, safety, log auditor, dispatcher and then ending with safety director and account collections.  It was a lot of computer experience that I have to admit that I love.  I have always been fascinated with computers ( have no idea why) but I hope that every one else is doing well in their classes.  Have a great day and best of luck.   MM

Module 3

This was a wonderful unit, I loved it.  It was interesting to see how long it really had been since the WWW had been started, (even though made me feel old) It took me about 10 hours total start to finish, of course not working on it all in a single time frame.  Again I really love this class, it is something that I can relate to because I have spent so much of my time the last several years(when I was working) on a computer.  I am seeing with all my homework in all my classes that my kids all 4 of them can relate with me better, I LOVE IT!!! because now they see that I too have to do my home work.  That is all for this week.  Hope all of my class are doing great as well...mm
